Custom Cross Stitch Portraits are a beautiful way to capture your loved ones during a special season in life, or they make the perfect gift for the holidays, birthdays, Mother's/Father's Day, graduation, or as a "thank you" for that special teacher, coach, or friend! Each stitch portrait is designed uniquely for you and hand stitched with love, down to the tiniest detail.

This listing is for a Custom Cross Stitch Portrait containing FOUR figures (adult, child, or pet). Please note that a baby held swaddled in a figure's arms counts as just one figure!

💫 What's Included💫

・ Your stitch will come to you framed in a lovely natural finish bamboo hoop ready to hang or display on your favorite shelf. The size of your hoop, typically ranging from 5-8 inches in diameter, will be determined by how many figures and any additional embellishments that are included in your stitch portrait.

・ Each adult, child, and pet (yes, you can include any beloved furbabies!) are considered one figure each, but a swaddled babe in arms is free of charge!

・Your stitch can be further personalized with words and additional decorative details! A heart in a coordinating color above your figures as well as wording above and/or below (examples: family name, year, special quote) are included FREE of charge with each stitch portrait. If you would like additional larger embellishments such as embroidered flowers, grass and flowers at the feet of your figures, skyline, etc., this will be an additional charge; please message me to discuss pricing/ideas/possibilities!

・Each stitch will be beautifully finished and backed with fabric that coordinates with the front of your stitch. If you have any special requests regarding colors or patterns for this fabric, don't hesitate to ask. Though this part of the stitch is rarely seen by most admirers of your stitch, customizing each "hoop butt" is one of my favorite parts of the process!

***Please keep in mind that typical turnaround time for these handmade pieces are 6-8 weeks from the time I receive all questionnaire info and reference photos. If you have a specific date/occasion by which you need your stitch, please contact me prior to ordering in order to ensure that I can get you your stitch in plenty of time!

💫Next Steps for Personalizing Your Stitch💫

・Once you have placed your order, please look out for an email from me in your inbox (I'll use the email address that you provide at checkout for this correspondence). In this email, I'll provide a questionnaire for you to fill out and return so that I can personalize your stitch to your exact specifications and get everything JUST right!
・ Along with the questionnaire, please send reference photos of all of the individuals you would like to include in your stitch; check out the "Reference Photo Tips" section below for all the details on the types of photos to send!
・I complete each stitch portrait in the order in which I receive all of the above, so the sooner I receive reference photos/completed questionnaire, the sooner I can start on your stitch!

💫Reference Photo Tips💫

When sending reference photos, unless otherwise specified by you, all of the unique details of your stitch will be based on the photos that you provide, so for best results, please keep the following in mind:

・ Be sure to send photos that include outfits and hairstyles that you feel accurately depict each person in your stitch. If you want a slightly different look (ie: add or omit glasses, facial hair, different color clothing, different hair length/color), please specify these details when answering the questions above.
・ Feel free to send one photo of the whole group of people you'd like included in your stitch OR multiple photos of each person if you don't have everyone together in one photo.
・In choosing your reference photos, keep in mind that the more details that are visible in your photos, the more accurately I can portray each individual in stitch form! So the best reference photos are those where colors are true-to-life and I can see every individual from head to toe :)
